LILT-8300/26

Intermediate Spectrometer LILT-8300/26

The Intermediate Spectrometer is a high-precision optical instrument designed for the study of spectroscopy, refraction, diffraction, and wavelength measurement. It is widely used in physics laboratories for determining the refractive index of prisms, measuring spectral lines, and conducting diffraction grating experiments.
The instrument is built on a robust aluminium cast base and features a precision telescope and rotating table, both equipped with fine adjustment mechanisms for accurate alignment and measurement. An achromatic objective lens provides sharp and clear images, while the German silver slit ensures precise light entry for spectral observations.
A 150 mm diameter stainless-steel graduated circle combined with a vernier system provides angular measurements with a least count of 1 minute of arc. The telescope is fitted with a 90° cross-line reticle on glass for precise focusing and alignment.
