LIME-8200/28
The Kinetic Theory Model is designed to demonstrate the molecular activity of gases and the relationship between temperature, pressure, and molecular motion. The apparatus consists of a 4–12 V DC electric motor, a transparent tube, stainless-steel balls, and two floats fitted inside the tube. When the motor operates, it vibrates the tube, causing the steel balls to move randomly, simulating the motion of gas molecules.
As the vibration intensity increases, the motion of the balls becomes more vigorous, representing an increase in gas temperature. The addition of weights to the floats increases the force exerted on the moving balls, demonstrating the effect of increased gas pressure.
Specifications:
Power Supply: 4–12 V DC Electric Motor
Transparent demonstration tube
Stainless-steel balls representing gas molecules
Two floats fitted inside the tube
Durable laboratory construction
Features:
Demonstrates the kinetic theory of gases.
Simulates random molecular motion.
Illustrates the effect of temperature on molecular activity.
Demonstrates the relationship between pressure and particle movement.
Clear and easy-to-observe operation.
Ideal for physics and chemistry laboratory demonstrations.
